These are great tips.  As I read through them, I have to think that they can apply to any home based business you are starting, not only tutoring.

I think tutoring is an excellent home based business if you feel you have a good base of knowledge in a particular area (s).  I especially liked your tip of getting to know teachers and administrators in your area.  Be the person they think of when they find a student who needs additional help.
